I know sweeping the Jets is a good thing and we all are feeling good no matter how it looked.

Unfortunately I'm finding it hard to get to happy though as our defense gets pushed around again. I can understand some issues with the offense with a young QB but our defense, even with young players in some spots like ALL defenses do, is turning into a joke the way teams march up and down the field on them. If the talent is there like so many on these boards believe is the weakness in the coaching?

This is getting very frustrating to me, as well as the inconsistent offensive line play.

I think yesterday for the most part the D did a better job even if the stats don't show it. One of the big issues is lack of pressure from LBs. The secondary played a lot better with Clemons in the secondary with Wilson/Bell/Culver (I saw those 3 cycle a lot, but Clemons was in at FS most of the game) because Clemons is a fundamental tackler, a speedster, and a natural FS.

The only real BIG play we gave up was a Crotchery catch that Vontae dove to bat the ball away when he had no chance. Yeah there were a couple other 10+ yard plays, but one was a screen, and one was just a great catch by Bryalon.

The lack of pressure from the OLBs is concerning though. I see Langford,Starks, Solia, and Merling get penetration or stuff up the line, but our LBs struggle to get pressure.
