How Much This Game Does Not Matter?

Ran into some Jet fans on South Beach last night, normally a lot of fun. Not this game. They talked more of being here for the great weather and a party on So Be. The game was like an afterthought with no debate no one caring. Disappointing.

Don't care about those jokers, every game against the Jests matters. Every win against them matters. Hate the Jets.

It is the last regular season game until next September. Sure it is meaningless in terms of playoffs this year, but it is the last time we will see the Dolphins for awhile, the difference between a winning and non-winning season, a division game, and the stinking Jets. I want this win.

Storylines: Philbin trying to get .500 career record, Tanny going for 4K, Miller looking for 1K rushing, Wallace can hit 11 TDS breaking his record, we might be seeing Rex's last game as Jets coach, and we are looking at having winning record for season.

It doesn't matter in terms of playoffs. Aside from that, and that's clearly why you play the game, there's a lot to play for as alluded to above.
