Does anyone know what investment these celebrities made.
I'm currently in negotiations With Ross to buy 0.0001% of the team.
I wish we could, but Ross said today that can't happen.I'm currently in negotiations With Ross to buy 0.0001% of the team.

A. Ross: That isn’t allowed in the NFL, you’re limited to I think 25 owners and it’s not the kind of thing [where] you want a public company. They don’t allow public companies. Someone has to be able to make all the decisions without going to a board or anybody else, which I think is good, because that way you get decisions made. You don’t have fights within different teams which certain sports have, you know divisions. I’m prepared to take all the blame, but still the fans we love them and they’re the most important thing we have. I want to make sure they feel good about the team.

Ross is right, it is against the current rules. The Packers did this before the rules changed. He's wrong. And he's now made himself look like an even bigger idiot.
"The Packers are now the only publicly owned company with a board of directors in American professional sports."

Green Bay is the only team with this form of ownership structure in the NFL; such ownership is technically in direct violation of league rules, which stipulate a limit of 32 owners of one team and one of those owners having a minimum 30% stake. However, the Packers corporation was grandfathered when the NFL's current ownership policy was established, and are thus exempt.

Correct me if I'm wrong. This is just my take on the situation.
No, it would run him ~$1,000.that will run you a cool $100,000? somewhere around there. thats still alot of cash.
I think the Estefans bought 2% of the team, which is roughly $20 million. Not sure how much Marc Anthony bought, but I think it is believed to be less then what the Estefans got. Jimmy Buffett didn't buy into the team at all, he is just tied in with the stadium naming rights. I don't think Venus and Serena Williams would have spent a huge amount, I would say they got about 0.5% to 1% of the team at around $5-10 million.
Really, it isn't that much of the team. People complain, but remember this, Wayne Huizenga still owns 5% of the team. Which means he likely still owns a bigger amount of the team then all these celebrities combined.
