It seems like we haven't dominated a game since Dan was the head coach vs Houston and Tennessee. It can't be that long hey?

I don't think they have dominated a game from start to finish under Adam Gase.

I don't think we know the definition of the word

The road jets game two years ago is what I can think of. Note Matt Moore started that game. Last complete game under gase with Tannehill... I got nothing.

Very strange distribution. Our won/loss record under Gase is actually quite remarkable given how few games we win ridden out. <O> (Shouright) properly emphasized that many times last season. The Steelers game as 7 point home underdog in week 6 of 2016 is the only game I can think of that the Gase/Tannehill combo has won handily.

Goff has already won 8 games at 15+ in his career, he has an 8-6 record in 15+ score games. Tannehill's career record in such games is 9-17, and its 1-3 under Gase. There is definitely a correlation between this split and the elite QBs. Brady is 88-13 for instance. Because even when the greats are having bad days they can still keep the game competitive usually.

To dominate we need points on the board and whether it's play design or execution we don't score first quarter points.
Though we did dominate the Jets this year in the first half it was defensively led with short fields helping the offense put 20 points in a half, second half they disappeared barring the last drive to ice the game.
We seem set up to avoid mistakes and win close games, if that doesn't work we get blown out like the New England game where we threw in the towel whenever we had offensive penalties which seemed like every single first half drive.

Even the greats are blownout on average once a year with Tannehill guaranteed twice, usually the Patriots away and another against teams that outright bully us like the Ravens or Titans in 2016. The disparity is that the greats tend to blowout teams on a more regular basis while we rarely do.

It's like they have the best rb and defense in the NFL or something. Weird

Goff has one of the easiest QB jobs in the NFL right now. He's got everything a QB could ask for. He is dropping dimes though you have to give him that. I was equally impressed with Cousins last Thursday night. Cousins is a QB who doesn't garner a lot of respect on here and I think many Dolphins fans would say Tannehill is better but that guy was dropping absolute dimes on contested throws. I was impressed, I didn't know he was so good. His numbers haven been OK but I never really saw him play well. In most of the games I've seen him in I seem to catch the bad ones.
