If Pat White wasn't ready to play the role of Wildcat QB this season, would you be mega pissed? I know I would!

For the above poll, rate how pissed you would be from a rating of 0 to 5, 5 being the most pissed and 0 being not the least bit pissed.

Also explain the reasoning after you vote in the poll.

I don't see a poll, but i'd be surprised if he's a significant contributer on offense his first year.

So if Whites not ready, you're asking if I'll be pissed whether or not our 2nd round QB plays in his rookie season?

No i wont be. I wasn't with Beck, and I wasn't with Henne. It'd be pretty hypocritical to be upset with White. White may be playing the position differently, but this is still the NFL. There's a learning curve no matter what.

I figured he would see action right away with the wild cat offense and that was why he was more appropriate to be picked by us than other teams.

It's highly probable but that really depends on what they are going to have him do. Right now, all we know is that the Dolphins threw out of the Wildcat once last season. We don't know if Pat White will be passing more or runnign more in the wildcat. Is it actually going to be an option, where White reads the DE/OLB? I mean, this is actually going to be a little more complicated then most fans are making it out to seem. We're not just plugging Pat White into the wildcat, instead we're actually creating something incredibly new.

The wildcat may have been invented way back, but when it was invented, guys like Pat White didn't exist.

i wouldent be mad because if the dude for some reason just flat out suck's at qb and ronnie brown throws more td's then him we can always use him at other position's like wr rb we can run the screen punt returns kick returns the list keeps going but trust me guys this kid is special

With the kind of heart and drive this kid has that got him here today and with the coaching this team has there is NO doubt in my mind that Pat White will be ready...let the excitement begin

Considering most people say he was drafted to play the WC...If he's not ready to play a limited position in an offense that will see the field at most 25% of the offensive snaps...Yeah I'll be pretty pissed.

to be honest, I just don't think that's what Parcells has in mind. Not anymore.

I think we have to start thinking the Wildcat is going to become our main formation from now on. All this stuff that keeps popping up telling us that Parcells had the Wildcat in mind years ago, then drafting White, you have to believe that parcells is trying to change the way the game is played.

Whether or not it works, we'll find out. But we'll never see a normal offense again until Parcells/Lee/Sporano are gone I think.

He's been running it longer than we have, so I doubt he won't be ready. So I guess that would make me 'John Beck' pissed.

On another note, does the Daunte pissed level mean.......

1.) pissed that we went after him at all?

2.) pissed that he played too early (his fault)?

3.) pissed that he played too early (saban's fault)?

4.) pissed that he never was given a 'healthy' chance and was blindly replaced by Mr. Scrambled Eggs?

I don't think this is far fetched, and, that was one reason I was so pissed at the selection. I don't see any good signs in the selection of White where he was picked. He's either 1-Drafted to be the backup QB....Which means we screwed the pooch on either his selection, or Henne's selection....OR we are planning on running the Wildcat as our primary offense, which I think will be ruinous.

I'll be okay at the beginning of the season....but he better have it straight towards the end and he better be money in the second season.

you forgot to put the option ready. Because i know hes ready. Theres Three guys that i know can run the wildcat in the nfl. TEBOW, WHITE, GROTHE and only one was available in the draft this year. So pat is ready.
