Anyone know? First I heard he was doing well at the beginning of camp, then I heard toward the end of camp he wasnt doing so well

IMO he did very well when I was watching him. Im glad he is finally feeling comfortable at CB because we need him to play well in order to solidify the secondary and perfect this Defense. But yeah hes doing good lets just see how he plays in the preseason before we give him the starter spot.

The variance between the observations is pretty staggering. We have multiple people noting that the guy was getting dragged up and down the field all day, that quarterbacks were intentionally picking on him, and that he was on the losing end of most of the big pass plays. And then we have multiple notes talking about him looking comfortable there, putting himself in position to make plays, etc.

I think right now if you spoke to the main local journalists that have been at these mini camps, they would tell you Jason Allen is struggling at CB...but they would also note that the pads haven't come on yet.

All I heard was he got burned by Ginn a couple of times, but other than that he looked pretty good.

hopefully he can add a little depth to the secondary, at least get on the field in nickel packages, do more than just special teams. he was the 16th pick in the draft, he needs to earn his money.

at the moment it's not looking all that great. There has been some improvement, and the coaches are giving him plenty of reps so he has a good chance, but right now it appears it's going rather slow.
