Mularkey took a Bills team with Drew Bledsoe at QB and Travis Henry at RB to a winning season in his first year...they just had a drop off this year, so all of the criticism from Bills fans is ridiculous anyway. He had injuries, internal issues in the organization, and last but certainly not least JP Losman. Mularkey is an excellent coach, and was a fantastic offensive coordinator for years in Pittsburgh. What is there that would imply that he would be anything less in Miami?

Very true...I for one, im very happy with this hiring. Saban got his man!!!

I didn't think Mularky was a good HEAD coach. In fact, not many here thought he was (if any). But you can be a bad head coach and still be a good coordinator. Mularkey is a good Coordinator.

I'm thinking he being the head coach of the Bills is tainting his rep. He did a great job in Pittsburgh.

Norv Turner is another good example. Sucks as a head coach, but is a great offensive corrd.

I just think its being a bills head coach...look at gregg williams..great coordinator but horrible head coach. Something about being a head coach in buffalo brings out the worst in coaches..:D

I think there is alot of truth to that. J.P. Lostman is not an NFL QB yet at least he wasn't this past season and Spikes injury really hurt there run defense. If the other team can run on you it makes for a long day.

What a bunch of Mularkey!!

Not even Belichek could win in Cleveland. I think Mularkey's situation in Buffalo is a comparison to that. He will be a great OC for us as he was it Pitt.

i don't really care who we sign. I just know that if Saban wants a guy, the guy must be worth it.

Well, I think the reason he has a "bad rep" on this board is because all they know about him was that he was the Bills coach. I'm not going to lie... I didnt know much about him before his days in Buffalo...
