Seems like our O-line is struggling a little bit through the first couple of weeks of training camp and our first pre-season game. How quickly do you all think Sparano can get these guys to come together as a unit.

I thought the first team was doing pretty good, it was when they had had moved a few second team players in with the first team when that sacks started coming. I hope they gel soon though.

Our Oline is fine.

Our Defense is in Bigg Doodoo.

The first game of the regular season against NY.

Actually everyone was surprised how the O-line was able to gel early last year and was the strength of the team (until injuries kicked in). With the addition of Long and Smiley, Carey back to RT and Satele in his second year, I think they will gel quickly and be even better than before. Just give them time and remember that Sparano is an O-line guy at heart!

I think we'll see some good production from the O-line by the 4th or 5th regular season game.

Actually the first team Oline looked fine the first pre season game. They need to keep it up. Now the backups thats a whole other story. I expect us to pick up one or two lineman before the season. After cuts.

Alot have been giving the defense crap, but our starters did really well and exceeded expectations. The starting unit had two 3 and outs. It was the second stringers who started stinking it up.

Tony said it best at the Press Conference today, the bubble guys as he calls them need to start steping it up or I think we will see other players brought in.

Please explain, because I don't agree with you. The D-line with Holliday, Ferguson, Langford, Merling, Starks, Wright looks pretty good. Nice mix of talented vets and young talent.
Holliday has had a good camp and Langford and Ferguson looked good against the Bucs 1st string O-line.
Secondary looks to be improved with the continued development of Jason Allen and the health of Bell.
LB's should be OK with Crowder, Ayodele/Torbor and Porter.
With good coaching and schemes they should be fine.

i'll say week 8 about halfway thru the year. and that would be great considering how green this group is as a unit.

as long we don't have injuries to the starters cause the depth right now is nonexistent.

the future is very bright on the oline. no doubt

Quicker than in previous years is my answer. No juggling so far this year, which means all of camp and pre-season will be continuity building. In previous seasons our fins have let camp battles along the O-line drag on too long. It seems to be settled already, which will get these guys used to each other now as opposed to weeks 1 through 4 or 5. Good move IMHO

I agree, didn't get that statement. Not saying they will be great but am much less worried about the defense than I am thye passing game. I fear if you force Miami to throw, we are in trouble, until our WR's show us something.
