I'm sure this is still a large adjustment to becoming a featured back in the NFL. This isn't meant negative or positive. Just quoting Saban. Take it for what you may....

He'll be a lot confident and more relaxed with Ricky out there. In due time, he'll be one hell of a back for us!

Thats what is so great with a 2 back system. He wont HAVE to carry the load.

With these guys we could pound the ball 40 X's if we had to...and split their carries at 20 each. We dont lose any productivity with any back in there. Stats Schmats.....thats the stuff we could build a championship team around!!!!

Well he was hurt the carolina game, plus he had never worked that hard in his life!!..... but it's common for rookies to get worn out early i guess.
Ronnie has already proved himself to be a quality featured back IMO... now Ricky can pick up alot of the dirty work for him. This helps us on soooo many levels. Hopefully we can keep Ricky around atleast another season, if not.. drafting a bruiser back in the mid-late rounds would be adequate.

I think Ricky will be here for 2-3 more years....as long as he wants to and stays clean. That would be a great tandem for those years and extend Ronnie's shelf-life considerably....rather then run him into the ground in 3-5 years.

I hope so, but who knows with this guy. I think he's here to repay his debt and go home, but on the other hand.. if he wanted to stay in football and get a new contract, he'd definetly wanna play somewhere where he can share the load with another guy as laid back as Ronnie is.

I don't know about that statement. It sure as hell didn't look like Ronnie was worn out towards the end of the game, he was still running Very hard, and making plays, and even after his fumble at the end, when they showed him on the sidelines he wasn't exactly sucking wind, or look like he was beat or tired. He still looked fresh!!!

right, he has already showed signs of whats to come..he looks hard to tackle, like defenders sleep on his power. also, im glad he wasnt ran to death like caddy was the first few games of the year..

He's getting there, hopefully for your sake ricky doesn't impede his progress b/c Ronnie is your future and Ronnie's future looks very bright.

very much like pittsburgh, I would love to have one of the top rushing attacks in the NFL again, and I think this week vs. the bucs will be our first step in doing so.

Even though the bucs D is good, when Ricky played I don't remember many teams shutting him down the entire game any D will get tired out eventually. No we have two almost mirror images of each other which can both be great in their own contributions.

Can't wait till sunday.

this game we expose Tampa's over-hyped run defense. we get over 160 yards on the ground between Ronnie and Ricky.

Now that Ricky is back I dont think tired legs will be a problem.
