How sad Manuel Wright...16 reps Bench Press???

how is it a desperation on our part? he was considered a prospect & our coaches went out to see what he can do. since he didnt have a good workout now his stock has lowered. if saban decides to take him in the Sup Draft then they must know something that we dont know. in about a wk, we will know.
 
I can do 10 reps of 225 but since when do they stop the game and have the DT's have a bench press competition. If he can play, he'll be taken period. That's why we pay Gamble 6-figures anyhow.
 
I could give a crap about what he does in a workout. His impressive 40 time doesn't matter to me either. What can he do in game situations? That's the more important question.
 
Bench pressing stats are way over rated anyway. Does the guy make plays when he's on the field. Does he dominate. There have been bench press kings who have done nothing in the NFL.
 
He would be a steal in the 3rd round. If he stayed in college he would be picked in the first 2 rounds next year because he would dominate his position in college this year.
