how sparano transformed the dolphins

Dude, you're definitely prolific! I would advise you for the next article to put a draft out on FH, let some of the grammatical types here work it over and find and fix any errors (Parcells can leave tomorrow if he wants, 3 years is not committed). I do agree Sparano didn't get his props last year, let's see if he can produce consistently before canonization.

A well written and interesting article. Thank you for writing it, I enjoyed it.

How can you even say that? Most people here are very aware of Sparano and his contribution. Parcells, like it or not, is a football legend. Wherever he goes, he's good for about 5 wins by himself. Granted, that was as coach, but, his influence looms. He's going to get lots of credit. I think he will be gone after this season and, what he's put in place will endure.

always appreciate compliments. i just fixed that bit on parcells. i know he is free to leave, but he is technically under contract. he just has the right to break the contract, and keep the money, whenever the heck he pleases.

I stopped reading half way through. You wrote an article telling us that nobody knows alot about Tony Sparano.

Bleacherreport.com < used toilet paper.

No real insight given at all and you seemed to want to give all the credit to Sparano, who did win a number of coaching awards this year, just not the AP award. Also Sparano is not the mastermind behind the wildcat so I really think this article was useless to me.

yeah on FH people are aware of sparano. i wrote that article for a website that deals with the entire NFL. i doubt fans of teams outside our division could even tell you who our coach was. they would probably say parcells.

didnt create the wildcat, but utilized it for the dolphins.

i enjoyed reading it myself;and even though Parcells does get alot of the credit, and rightfully so....Coach Sparano was the one on the sidelines, not Bill Parcells...Coach Sparano was the one who got together with his assistants and introduced the Wildcat to the Pro Level, not Parcells, and i personally feel that Coach Sparano should've won the NFL's Coach of the Year award...if he continues this success,i hope he's given an extension on his contract that will keep him with us as our HC beyond the 3 remaining years he has left...

Ok. Thanks for framing it up for me. I would say you are probably right on that.

Sparano did a great job, no doubt and I am glad he's my coach but lets be sure credit is given where its due. And at the end of the day David Lee and Dan Henning deserve alot of credit too.

Actually everyone deserves credit, thats why I have a problem this article.

This is what being a team is all about. Everyone gets credit, or no one gets credit.

the wildcat was very very big decision.but what i thought was the best.when we are down 0-2.coach tells the guys"the only thing i know to do is work harder".the practises they had where brutal, and it worked.they could have gone 0-for the rest of the season.but he would have figured out who wanted to play.i thought are talent was at best a 5 on the scale of 10.the coaching staff did a better than good job.it was one of the best coaching jobs i have ever seen.lets not forget bp said we had the worst talent player wise he had ever seen,on any team.this is team he should have started with last year.i still we feel are weak up the middle-(guards and inside lb's.)when we play the strongest schedule in the league.its hard to think we wont have problems up the middle on offense and defense.but no matter whats happens this year.plug in a few more guys, and with are coaching staff.i feel the dolphins will be a tough, physical football team we are all proud of for a long time.

Look in all seriousness Tony Sporano deserves alot more credit than he's getting. He dosen't get alot of credit because Bill Parcells is a legend of the game. As good as he is the game has passed him by in terms of coaching. The one thing that will never pass him by is knowing talent and aquiring football players. Check this out..

You check out the end of the video against the Chargers and tell me the team dosen't seem more fired up than last year with Sporano as coach. Listen to what the announcers say about Sporano challenging the team during practice and telling them "It's not going to be like last year, the phins are no longer food".

Bleacher Report = trash

Anybody can "write" for that site and they make rumors up all the time.

oh - and the closing to the article is pretty lame.

Be creative, bro. Or don't come at all.
