....Start hitting on second-day picks!

Here’s a brief recap of the Dolphins’ last decade of drafts:

Good, if not excellent, in the first round.

Miss after miss in the second and third.

Remember Dallas Thomas and Will Davis?

How about Billy Turner and Jonathan Martin?

And who could forget Pat White or Michael Egnew?

Busts, all of them.

Some of us would argue that Jarvis Landry was a pretty decent 2nd round Draft pick.

Best one we've had in a long time. However, he still has a point. Aside from Landry, our 2nd day picks have been awful for quite a long time.

Landry and Howard were good 2nds but otherwise I can agree with that

I can see Howard turning out to be pretty damn good... J train wasn't a bad 2nd day pick either... other than that, the best I can remember was Chambers, way back when.

5th round is day 3

Let's slow down on the Howard praise, he played 7 games.

He was great in those games. I feel confident with him out there.

It burns me up when I see other teams get a starter out of the 4th and below. Ajayi was our first one in a long time. Always seems a team can get a starter at guard or cb every year and we wiff.

How can we go from good to great? Play the jets 16 times a year

Ozzy rules!!

Isnt Reshad Jones a 5th ?

Not saying I disagree, we have been awful. But... 2012 3rd - Vernon

Maybe not all starters here, but there's been some talent:

2013 4th - sims
2012 4th - Miller
2012 7th - Matthews
2011 6th - Clay

As I was looking through our drafts, it's at least good to see that our 1st rounders are sticking better now at least!

Tunsil, Parker, James, Jordan, tannehill, pouncey.

5/6 still here and starters. I know, 1st round picks should be starters. But going further back, since 2001:

Odrick, Davis, long, ginn, Allen, brown, Carey, Moore, McKinney, fletcher.

Guess we should count our blessings that there's a little improvement in first round selections, lol.

Stop hiring **** GMs. If that fails, stop keeping them around several years too long.
