How the phins should have drafted

The phins shouldnt have taken Ronnie Brown with the nd overall pick in April's draft. They should have either banked on Ricky returning or could have added a RB through a trade example Travis Hnery. Or possibly a stud in Shaun Alexander but they decided to take Ronnie Brown. They should have drafted a QB in Aaron Rodgers or in the later rounds takend AD Mcpherson. I dont agree with the ronnie brown draft where we could have gone in other directions

Wow, it just never ends, does it?

The draft was on April 23rd, and you post this the day before practice starts?
I just don't get it.

No, I think it is the poster who doesn't get it.

I don't agree with any of what you post here. A trade for Henry would not have cost a third round pick for us. I believe that is what the Titans gave up. It would have cost at least a 2nd round pick. I don't think, basically, giving up a Patrick Surtain for Henry would have been a good idea.

As far as Alexander, it seems the only way anyone can get him is for a 1st round pick. And I don't think he is worth that with a Ronnie Brown coming out in the draft.

The Aaron Rodgers idea baffles me the most. You are actually implying we should have drafted him with the #2 pick when he went to Green Bay with the 20 something pick?

As far as banking on Wicky for anything just got a HC in Miami fired. Why would any sane Miami HC ever think of doing that again?

Drafting Ronnie was as easy as knowing Wicky could go AWOL at any moment to go look for his long lost friend pot again.

And finally as a new HC the last thing you want to do is give away draft picks for established players. We are in rebuilding mode, and you do not rebuild by giving away draft picks. The Ronnie Brown draft pick was a no brainer IMO.

Ricky hadnt made a committment to return on draft day......

NEXT POST!

Come on, Mike. How much does a call to Ms. Cleo cost? What, $4.99 a minute? It wasn't worth that to find out in advance what Ricky was going to do? And why didn't we just ask her if Ricky was going to last all year? Or if Rogres is going to be a good QB. That would sure save us a lot of time and money. Come on, Mike. Think outside the box.
