Kevin Coyle- DC
D-Line - Kacy Rogers
ST-Darren Rizzi

Looks pretty good

add in the fact we might get Mike Dauffner as LB coach and that's actually a decent looking staff.

I like the way things are going but lets get a QB guys.

Ozzy rules!!

we now employ 2 of the best teachers in the west coast offense leading our team in philbin and sherman.

there guys who dabble in it, guys who try to use it, and theres guys who know it inside and out and are devout students and teachers of the wco philosophy and thats philbin and sherman.

i think it speaks VOLUMES about a guy who is a position coach can command such respect from his peers and big time assistants and former h/c's will follow him and work for him. this should put the kabosh to all the hoo-hah over philbin being a lacky who didnt call plays. guys like mike sherman dont come and work "under" a lacky.

this is really shaping up to be something special.

and we deserve it dang it!! we have paid our dues over the last 15 years.

i would like to see BRYAN COX stay on. havnt heard much about him and his status.

his job was pass rush and considering the lack of true pass rushers on the team, we had a pretty good rush going most of the season. had we some db's who could cover better, our sack total would have been significantly higher.

i would be for keeping him in that capacity or as lb coach.

Has Kevin Coyle been a DC before, I like him as a DB coach, but was does he bring as a DC...does he know both 3-4 and 4-3 and how to play with that or is he strictly 4-3...I'm unsure, does anyone have credible info on him?

Our DC should make that call.

I am with you. I am worried about this. Too many "expecting" this to go down. From National media, locals and fans.

I really wanted Sherman from the time Philbin was hired.

I'm really hoping we keep Darren Rizzi as ST coach. HUGE improvement since he took over.

Definitely, Our kick coverage last year was the best I can remember it being for a long time. Might have to do with the new kickoff rules this season but our guys always seemed to make the play inside of the 20.

Sounds awful !!!!!

But seriously, we've had a lot of high profile coordinators down here, from Capers, Mularkey, Linehan, Nolan, Daboll, Norv Turner, Henning, Pasqualoni.... We need some continuity for once. Sherman could hopefully stick around a good five years, considering he's probably not going to be a HC again.

I think we may be able to provide a setting for a young QB to actually develop !!!!!! Can you believe it ?
