How to fix running game?

With Foster an injury risk at any given moment, Ajayi showing to be a weak-minded, fumble-prone softie with no punch, what are the solutions to our anemic rush attack? The OL hasn't been providing the needed holes, but these RBs have left a lot to be desired.

Is it time to bring in another body?
 
You need a time machine....
 
Our run blocking won't improve until we play with natural guards instead of OT's converted to guards. In terms of our RBs, would've been nice to keep Lamar, but we didn't, so now we're stuck with an injury prone #1 RB and a mediocre wannabe #1 RB with a poor attitude and a tendency to fumble the football.

Basically, we're ****ed this year.
 
Next year we need to draft leonard fornette from LSU. That dude is a stud RB. Thas how we fix it
 
Throw down the field like the Patriots did to start the game.
 
We need a FB. Another pass-catcher out of the backfield...another blocker on blitzes...and, most importantly, someone to block the MLB on inside runs.

yup. buncha tackles out there. pass pro has improved, but run blocking hasn't. im fine with it. this is a passing league. if we prove we can throw the ball downfield we will get more space to run.

Yep. A pick that could have been used to finally address the defense will now likely have to be used to fix a position that never should have been a problem in the first place.
 
I haven't seen a hole up front YET. The running backs are staring at a wall of defenders. Pead will and should be starting next week, but I fear the running game won't come together until the O-line fixes some issues.
 
A fullback and pead or Drake both are faster guys who may be able to get to edge. Which I think the tackles can block the longer sweeps as well as people like caroo and Landry are decent wr blocking. But since we got no fullback need to use Sims. Or gray if he still on the team to set the edge for the lb so they can use speed and box out blocking instead of needing a push.
If you can get the edge with those guys it makes dline have to protect that more opening more runs inside. That's how I see it but I'm an idiot so who knows.
