I saw this drill done by one team's WR coach one time, although I can't remember who. The coach no lie, throws bricks at the WRs during practice. It teaches the receiver to focus on catching the brick, because you have to catch it on it's flat sides or else it hurts your hands. You also have to catch it with your hands instead of your body because that would hurt. And of course you HAVE to catch it because if you drop it you're gonna hurt yourself. Charlie Baggett are you out there??

Ahhh yes, but how many trips to the ER before they learn how to catch? haha

Give them directions and a lift to the local unemployment benefits office.

BENCH THEM ALL. pull them from the starting line up { demotion }. you'll see how quick they snap out of their funk.

booker gets hurt everytime he catches a regular football, a brick might kill him.

Hagan would let it go through his hands and it would hit him in the head.

Chambers would catch them as long as they are thrown a foot or so out of bounds so he could reach for them. If they were anywhere right in front of him he would bobble them and break a pinky.

Also, is it just me or does Marty Booker slip and fall more than any player you've ever seen? Game after game I seem him slip and fall during routes. Get some longer spikes already.

The receivers got use to DC, he throws at the player. Joey has a quicker release and decides quicker. Therefore, the ball is thrown to a spot he expects the receiver to be at. The receiver needs to be ready to catch the ball when they reach that spot, and they need to hustle.

I know what you are talking about. The Lions did the drill last year with their 3 star receivers. We all see how well that turned out. Catching a brick won't help.
