How to tell your truly being effective in the passing game.

Pass Attempts/game NFL Rank - 31
Pass Yards/game NFL Rank - 21

Thanks to Ricky running all over people those stats show that A) We haven't had to throw at all and B) when we did throw it was for effective longer plays.

Also remember that pass attemps are higher in the league this year than in previous years. So it may not be that the Fins are passing less but everyone else is passing more.

hey if we don't nee do to pass that great. Just let ricky run. if he gonna cost 2 first rounders he better work hard like he doing.

But at the same time...

... the Dolphins are 4th in the NFL at yards per pass with a 7.7-yard AVG. Not to mention RW's has been able to protect our QB to a GREAT QB rating. Of course McMichael doesn't hurt the situation either. :D

You bring up a great point, not only with the addition of a real play action pass because the D fears RW, but RW blocking has probably been the biggest surprise to me. I haven't seen him miss an asignment or blitzer in his blocking, and it is not the phantom block that most RBs give he usually nails the on comming LB or D-lineman.
