A little message to those who bash Ronnie Brown's vision:

I guess his vision must have gotten better overnight!

Seriously though, I'm so sick of the "vision" criticism. I don't see it (no pun intended). The guy has it all. Just let the O-line work and feed him the ball 20+ times and he can't be stopped.

So please, enough with this "vision" crap!

How can anyone doubt this kid? Anyone who questions him now needs a brain transplant, **** 157 yards rushing and ovrer 5 yards a carry against the best defense in the NFL. Oh yeah he's a bust.:rolleyes2

Yep, where are all the vision people now? Hey, maybe he doesn't have Ladanian Tomlinson type vision, but its good enough for him to be a good back in this league. I'm tired of reading that all the time (which I have made clear in other threads). One person said he has bad vision and then everyone else used it without knowing anything about what vision is. Anyway, good job Ronnie....keep it up!

i havent watched the tape yet, but i'll bet you anything ronnie left between 50 and 100 yards on the field yesterday. you know why? because it's what he does every week! he misses cutbacks or doesn't break it outside on about 3-5 runs that would be 20+. i'll be 100% fair and honest with my post after i watch the tape, but like i said he misses 3-5 runs every week so why would this week be any diffrent?

This newly formed "Ronnie Brown Underappreciation Society" need to take a break, it's getting out of hand guys. There's like 10 Ronnie threads already out there in case you haven't noticed....

PHINZ RULE!!!!

I agree, I saw one run where he took it outside when he definitely should have turned upfield. But hey, even the great backs miss a hole every once in a while. If there are 3 plays out of 30 where he missed a hole, I wouldn't sweat it. The guy is still in his second year and I'm sure he will watch his tape even more closely than you do.

Put any RB under the microscope and you would see the same 'problems'; every RB in the NFL is going to leave plays on the field. But you're right, Ronnie Brown only has 1,528 rushing yards in 358 carries over his career (4.25 ypc) behind what has been a piss poor OL for most of his career. I see where you're coming from, he should be averaging 8 ypc but he just doesn't have good vision.

i love ronnie i think he is atough kid and he had a great day yesterday but he does miss holes even yesterday there was a couple he missed vision is a natural ability it can't be taught

PhinMike nailed it when he said EVERY RB IN THE LEAGUE MISSES HOLES... and when you are playing a quick defense like chicago's, its even harder to miss them. in the NFL, holes open and close in a matter of less than a second. Ronnie had a great game today, give the kid his props, and quit harping on his negatives.. some people in here expect nothing less than perfection with our players.

Well said.

my point was that every week ronnie is missing multiple big play opportunities. the elite backs do not do this. it's why they have sportscenter highlights when they rush for 157 yards and ronnie doesnt. wait, i take that back. ronnie did have an SC highlight getting popped by urlacher in what was one of the cheapest shots ive seen in a while. i hope urlacher has to miss some time with his ankle injury because he deserves it after such a vicious cheap shot on brown...

Let me understand your argument. Are you saying that the fact that Sportscenter chose not to air any Ronnie highlights adds to your argument that Ronnie is not elite?

If so, you are wrong. Who cares what Sportscenter thinks or which highlights it chooses? Jeez. You need to get a clue.

Also, its REAL EASY to watch the holes from a camera mounted from the upper deck. Its a bit harder to do so from Ronnie's vantage point. All RBs miss holes and cutback lanes. You are speaking from complete and utter ignorance.
