I seen some push up the middle a few times on the edge however I did not see enough from this unit especially with a poor oline in Seattle.
What are your thoughts on the dline play?

Their oline had like 5 or 6 holding calls as well, plus the numerous amount of holds not called. We saw better play next to Suh today than at any time last season. Phillips came to play. Williams, Wake, Branch and Jones all played well, got pressure on Russell and kept their run game in check. Suh was fantastic.

I thought they played damn good tbh

Thought they played real well. Especially Mario Williams. We missed him at the end of the game.

The D-Line played quite well.

And it's going to get better. RW, prior to the rolled ankle, is a far more mobile QB than this team will see for the rest of the season, aside from the two Buffalo games.

Being at the game you really see the holding calls that should've been called, I saw atleast 10 blatant holds on Suh, Wake and Jones.

Branch was a very active player as well. I thought the d line played great, but when Mario left they couldn't apply much pressure. They seemed to deflate a lil bit, but they were on the field for 35+minutes, they were exhausted.

unfortunately holds happen on every play just about, its only the obvious blatant ones that get called. And ya, the DL looked pretty legit. I'm happy, they were able to pressure a mobile QB in Wilson pretty well. Meaning they should look good the rest of the year against slower QBs.

i was about 95% sure what we saw from mario williams in the preseason games (nothing) was not indicative of the kind of player he still is.

rumors of his demise have been greatly exaggerated.

Just as in years past when it was difficult for opposing teams to determine the performance of their DL vs our pitiful OL, I'll reserve judgement until they face something formidable.

We faced a sub-par O-line this week and will face another next week. Sub par talent that is well coached in week 1 and 2.

I liked what I saw from the D-line but I expected more considering the match-ups. Way too early to get a good feel as this was just a snap shot.

Warmsley did well too. Yes he got some run bc Philips went down twice. I'm not sure either was serious though. Looked like maybe the wind was knocked out of him. Philips balled though
