How well is D Mac playing?

I know a lot of people hated him last year but I think that's because he came back from an injury too soon IMO. As the season went along, he got better and I felt that he would be ok this season. So far, I think he's been playing very good at LT. What do you think?

I would say that Damion McIntosh may very well be playing better than any other Offensive Lineman we have right now. Here are the stats:

Damion McIntosh- 4 games (4 GS) 1 False start penalty for 5 yards, 0 sacks allowed

Jeno James- 4 games (4 Games Started) 0 penalties, 1 Sack Allowed (-7yds)

Seth McKinney- 4 games (4 Games Started) 3 penalties for 25 yds (1 False Start, 2 holding), 0 sacks allowed

Rex Hadnot- 4 games (4 Games Started) 6 penalties for 29 yds (6 False Starts) 0 sacks allowed

Vernon Carey- 4 games (3 Games Started) 2 penalties for 15 yds (1 False start, 1 Holding), 1 Sack Allowed (-6 yds)

Stockar McDougle- 4 games (1 Games Started) 3 penalties for 20 yds (2 False starts, 1 Holding), 2 Sacks Allowed (-11 yds)

Exactly. Also, the guy was brought in here originally to play RT, not LT. It p'd me off all the folks dumping on the guy when he came in here doing everything in his power to get on the field with a lingering ankle injury playing the position along the OL requiring the most in agility. :fire:

Orlando Pace- 1 penalty, 4 1/2 sacks allowed
Tarik Glenn- 5 penalties, 0 sacks allowed
Marvel Smith- 1 penalty, .25 sacks allowed
Flozell Adams- 2 penalties, 1 sack allowed.

He is playing solid. What I dont understand according to the above chart why did they benched Carey when it appears McDougle is comitting more penalties and allowing pore sacks. Is his run protection that much better than Carey?
