How will Rudi do against our run D??

Listen, you gave up 180 yards to CHRIS BROWN & Backups
Seriously

Bowens might have lowered that number to 100-120. Fine
Rudi Johnson is a good back, to predict him having 100 yards is peanuts. I didnt say he'd run 10 times to get it, in fact I think it'd be more like 25. Your team is not the be all end all you think it is

Sheesh get over yourself, not like I predicted him to have 150 yards on 20 carries. You break a big 40 yard run that's 40% of it right there.

To think 100 is undoable speaks volumes about how badly you just looked to confront me on something, anything. It didnt matter. Jets fan, oh no I have to call him out for a realstic prediction.

Also consider the fact that Miami has two premier corners, the game plan will be focused on running the ball. Your team was exposed last week by the Titans. Tim Bowens isnt going to make that 180 turn into 60. Sorry, he aint that good.
the titans have one of the best o-lines in the league. so giving up one 180 while on the field the whole game isnt too bad. also rudi didnt tear it up against your D and last year basically the same D wasnt that great

Fair enough, but the Bengals were missing some key Olineman who will likely be playing this week.
Also the Jets stressed Run D the whole offseason, I wasn't surprised they stopped Rudi. However this left them open to the aerial attack which Palmer took advantage of.

Also the Jets linebackers are completely revamped, the biggest problem they had in 03 which led to teams running all over the Jets. They played great this past week. Still, Rudi got 70 yards on like 25 carries.

Rudi Johnson running for 100+ yds against us isn't impossible, but it's unlikely. Last year he started 13 games and gained a total of 957 yds. That avg.s out to about 74 yds/gm. (Last week against the Jets he ran 24 times for 70 yds: avg 2.9 per carry.) However, last year C. Johnson had 1355 rcv/yds and Warrick had 819 rcv/yds. The Bengals have become a pass oriented team and we can beat them

agreed, they are a passing team but I think the coach prefers the run, so they will try to establish it. If we force them to pass we win.

I also like the 3-4 and 4-4 ideas. I dont like sammy knight as a player only because he is slow. I wish we would have gotten Tebuky Jones that yr, I cant wait til Bell is starting

I say go ahead and let the JETS fans glory a little. They won a game and gave up 24 points and they stopped Rudi. If Carson had of put a little more air under that last pass they may not be here.
