Wayne has the ability to take over a game and kill secondaries. Since Gonzales is out for the game, do you think the coaches should double Wayne all game, or have either Allen of Smith manned up on him?

I am curious to hear what you guys think.

Smith may be able to take him alone. Tony will most likely see how they can do one on one and then knowing wayne will force tony just to double up on wayne which always sucks cause always help somebody else to open up most likely the TE.

I think so too, but White burned Smith a few times early and we are lucky Ryan was off to start the game. If Wayne can get open like that, I don't expect Manning to miss. Clark has the ability to kill us as well.

The only RW that we've stopped so far this season was Ricky Williams (not Roddy White) but I believe our hopes lie in good push in the middle and Joey and JT having great (not just good) games off of the edges. The DBs will burnt if we give them too much time and nobody runs better long routes than Indy. The safeties job should be easier with Gonzalez out and they should also help.

Can't 'stop' RW only can hope to contain him, which might just be enough to get a win. I'm more worried about Dallas Clark -vs- our LB's/Safety's to be honest.

Hoepfully these two get at least a sack each and Manning is in the dirt the whole game. They should be able to do it as well because of how bad Indy's OL is. They're supposed to be even worse than ours.

I would love to see the front seven be the reason we beat the Colts. There's so much potential there to do great things, in my opinion. They can set the tone for the rest of the squad.

These abbreviations using initials drive me crazy. I thought RW was Ricky on this site??? Now it's Reggie Wayne? The title had me believe Ricky had been named starter or something. Sheesh, don't be lazy and take the extra 2 seconds to type it out.

Haha, or you don't be lazy and read the original post and see I typed WAYNE.

agree i think our lb will a better job then our safety's. Dallas Clark will run all over our safety's unless our lb get to PM right as he is touching the ball.

I thought you meant Ricky Williams. I'm sure that I now our coaches game plan to stop him, they will hold him to 6-7 carries.

That sir... is a great point. On a few of the replays you could see that Smith was just getting crossed up by a five-year pro. We were privileged that Matt Ryan was throwing the ball and not P. Manning. It was obvious that he got blown on the deep routes, but I'm hoping that the coaching stuff got on his back for it. I'm hoping he learns from his mistakes from week 1, even if it's only week 2.

Don't worry, they'll make sure to stop our HBs equally; they'll only give Ronnie 7-10 carries. Seriously, any body else notice that M.Turner had the same amount of carries as did every Dolphin that tried to run it?

Back on topic. I thought Y.Bell and G. Wilson did a decent job of tackling T.Gonzalez after he caught the ball; not so much of a great job in coverage. Clark isn't as tall or fast/quick as Gonzalez, but he sure finds a way to get open and hold on to the ball. And to quote Sparano, He's a great blocker as well. I'm hoping that we get in the back field so often with our stout front, that they use him more for blocking.
