How will you react if the Dolphins finish with a Top 10 pick and DON'T draft a QB?

Seriously, why is this discussion even happening? Got a couple more months of football to be played.
 
I want Luck, but Landry Jones and Matt Barkeley do not look like franchise QBs to me. I hope they don't draft one of these guys just to get a QB. If they love Barkeley or Jones go ahead and draft him, but they should not let fan pressure force them into taking a guy they don't like. Of course I wanted Long over Ryan too so take it for what it's worth.
 
I'd probably come on here and lolz at all of the reactions to brighten my mood. In all seriousness though I'd be pretty pissed.
 
I am hoping we go 0-16 just so Tony is fired and a real head coach will draft Luck. The next regime cant be dumb enough to take a LT when you have a franchise qb sitting right there at number one overall.
 
Pass on Luck? Riot. In fact, if we really suck this year I'm going to be bummed if we end up with anything but Luck. I would still trade the entire draft to move up for Luck and hope that team is willing to settle for Barkley or Jones.
 
I am on record here saying that I am OPENLY rooting against this team every Sunday from here on out.


I hope we get blown out in every game to boot.

A new regime + Luck would be the payoff and would finally put us in a position to potentially compete long term.
 
Unless Henne shows marked improvement over the course of the entire season, I will fully expect a quarterback in round 1...but this franchise never ceases to disapoint or learn from the past.
 
i am rooting for the rookies to do pretty good, it looks like they might work out, as far as pouncey, thomas, and gates, hopefully clay could get in there and play
 
If we end up with a top 10 pick, it signifies that drafting a highly rated QB is a no-brainer. However, let's see how this season plays out not just for Luck, but also for Barkley, Jones and any dark horse who comes out of nowhere Cam Newton-style. We definitely need to push more chips into the pot to compete instead of once again going on-the-cheap, but IMO, if we can get 1B (Barkley) or another highly touted high potential guy without totally having to sell the farm, I'm not averse to that either.
 
If henne throws for 3500 plus yards, and we are picking top 2 or 3, then there will be more issues than a qb. Our db position is disgraceful, our rt is almost as bad, so it would not worry me one bit to fill the biggest need, and right now, db is a much bigger need than qb. Let's readress this in 7 games time.
