How will you react if the Dolphins somehow manage to beat the Patriots this weekend?

I'll be very happy if the dolphins pull out a win. but then sad again, when I come on here to read stats on why tannehill sucks.

I find it hard to believe that playing in front of a home crowd like this isn't just a bit deflating. Athletes feed off the energy of the crowd. When a home stadium has all the energy of a morgue, its easy to see why a team would come out a bit flat. In the end, it isn't the difference in a game, but I absolutely think it plays a role in the performances, however slight it may be.

So the 72 team went undefeated cause the orangebowl was packed?......stop blaming the fans. This team has been breaking our heart forever.

Ozzy rules!!

IF we win? yea.. IF we win.

I'd be happy, but by no means confident. This team has proven over the years it can win the occasional big game against an opponent it's expected to lose against.

On the flip side, the Dolphins seem to lose against teams they should beat.

We all expected the Saints to beat us. They expected to beat us. Their fans expected to beat us. America expected to beat us. They did.

When we are given that same respect, albeit fleetingly.. we **** the bed.

I'll be happy for the win. But by no means all hopped up and excited for the season.

Patriots had success disrupting the backfield and getting to Geno Smith in the Jets game, I think he was sacked like 4 times and this is against a very good Jets o line. This doesn't bode well for Tannehill playing the Patriots in New England. Patriots are pissed, Talib might be back and perhaps Amendola, I see this game getting ugly. 35-14 Patriots.

We will lose.

Case closed.

As I read this I think to myself how sad it is that we as fans even think this. We all expect to lose. It's a mindset that is a cancer the eats out hope and turns it black. The loser mindset that we can't compete. That after all these years, all the offseason moves we're still not able to even compete.

That's the hardest and saddest part of being a Dolphan. All our hope is gone. When we've been ridiculed and become bumbling fools on the football field, it's hard to be optimistic.

That sucks.

patriots lost back to back last year they aren't unbeatable, in fact they lost back to back 3 times in the last four years. basically they lose back to back once a year. this can be that once

I think we have a chance, but if we win, or not, I still plan to be thoroughly drunk.
Either drinking in celebration, or drinking my sorrow away.
Heck, I drink during the bye week, too! :)

Im not even going to entertain that there is a remote chance Miami beats NE this week. If the stars align, and the football gods love us, then maybe we wont get destroyed 45-13 but instead lose 28-10 or something. Im not letting Miami play me out by me thinking they have a shot in hell at winning this game. Philbin/Sherman/Coyle against Bellicheck and Co.!? Comeon man. Philbin and Co is going to get outcoached worse than they have all year.

IDK because we seem to win games nobody expects us to win, but then we **** the bed against bad teams.
