Since we are facing Incognito this week, I got to thinking how Gase would have handled the Bullygate situation differently than Philbin. Would he have helped Martin's psychological problems better? Would he have cut him before it became a problem? Would he have reigned in Incognito's worst tendencies?

He wouldn't have drafted that little bitch Martin to begin with.

Martin would have been cut before Bullygate ever happened.

Gase would have had a better idea what was going on in the locker, the so called innocent attacks would have been stopped from the start (Calling someone Gay, and making fun of someone's sister...too far), and if Martin showed even innocent fun was bothering him, he would have sat until he proved to be tougher, or was traded (If you're weak minded in Football, you will be eaten alive by all the trash talked every week).

Oh, and at worse if needed to be done, Incog would have been suspended a few games at worst, but doubt Gase would have gotten rid of a quality player, like he did with Incognito and Davis.

Gase would have identified weak-mindedness early. He also would have zero tolerance for divisive behavior. Assuming both were on the team and not cut earlier for other reasons, he would have cut them both.

is it just me that is confused by threads like "how would Gase handle Bullygate" "compare our games" and "Moore vs. RT debate"? we control our own destiny to make the playoffs for the first time in 8 years and one of the hottest teams in the NFL, how is this the stuff people what come up with to discuss right now? i don't get it, does our fanbase really not know how to enjoy winning anymore?

The fanbase as a whole is fine...the issue is with the "fans" that come to this board

Fans that care enough to be on a message board are obviously going to be the most damaged from years of trauma.

It would never have happened

Incognito would have been cut after harrassing a women with a golf club. Jonathan Martin would've been cut for being not good... I do think Gase could've dealt with Marshall and Vontae Davis though...

The problem with "bullygate" or any of these stupid scandals is the cover-up. That is what screws organizations - all the levels of covering up BS.

I'm not sure I understand your gripe. There are only so many ways you can discuss the playoff run. Who cares if there are some other kinds of discussions going on?
