If the Saints take Brees, the Jets get Ramsey, the Raiders get Culpepper. Then Houston takes Bush, Titans take, say Leinart. Greenbay probably wouldn't take a qb, San Francisco took Smith last year, and Buffalo has Losman. Cleveland, Philly, nor Atlanta would probably not take a qb.
That leaves Detroit at 9, Arizona at 10, St. Louis at 11, and Blatimore at 13. Do these guys give up on what they have and draft a qb. What does everyone think?

Dolphins sign Mcown and keep gus maybe take a qb in second or third round.

Maybe Vince Young to Detroit...if Culpepper goes to the Raiders?? They gotta be sick of Harrington??

The Jets still pick Cutler, and Vince is up in the air, it all depends on if teams think he can be a good QB in the NFL.
It will probably leave us with nothing apart from McCown, Gus and maybe Vince if he falls to us.

That's a very bad situation and I hope that it does not play out like that or I will be fairly devastated because we aren't in a position to lose 14 games next year and pick up a Brady Quinn either. Not to mention 2 top 5 QB's hardly ever maybe once in a blue moon enter FA like this year.

No.. Mike Martz already said a while back that he wants to work with Harrington. Harrington isn't a bust, yet. He has shown some sparks.

And why would the Jets sign Chad Pennington, trade for Patrick Ramsey, and draft a QB? I think they got other positions to worry about other than QB, one being running back. Curtis Martin is done. I can see the Jets going after a RB like Deangelo Williams or Lendale White.

They also cut 2-3 of their starting offensive line. So unless they want every QB's arm to end up like Chad Pennington, then D'Brickashaw Ferguson would be a wise choice.

One of them Top 3 QB's may fall on us, but I don't think we will pick them up if we sign Drew Brees.

If that happens, then I say keep Gus. Dont bring in any other temas baggage. Im not for trading for, or bringing in some other teams trash. Im not for getting a guy who can't even win the starting job there. So we should keep Gus, I mean the guy did help us have a winning season. Then we can draft a QB like Jacobs, or Olson and groom them under him so they can take over

But if we sign Brees, it lessens the chance of one of the top 3 falling to us, because N.O. would then be drafting one of the also.

I think they probably would also, but I don't know their stuations very much, like if they have other needs that are more important. I think Cleveland would be happy with Frye for now.

See, I like that idea.

There is absolutely no chance that one of those top 3 fall to us
it would be even more of a miracle than rodgers falling last year

Detroit, cleveland or Zona..... would all grab someone ,maybe even st louis or balt

Well technically Sage won 2 games for us. The Buffalo comeback and I believe it was New York the second time.(?) So that makes Gus 7-7.:D
