How would u like it if.....

what if are Sencondary was to look like this next season would u like it
CB: Marcus Trufant
CB: Will Allen
FS: Jason Allen
SS: Ken Hamlin

We can Pick up Marcus Trufant and Ken Hamlin if FA i think that Marcus would cost alot but he would be worth it, i think we have a pretty good shot at getting ken hamlin just because he was with the Cowboys and if we hire there secondary coach as out DC then he might want to play for some of the people that were in dallas that came to miami Ken Hamlin isnt the best cover guy but he can still cover some what so what would u think if that is what our Sencondary looked like next year i doubt that it will happen but i would be happy if it did
 
no way in hell we can get the cash for all of our draft picks and those two guys... people talk about our cap space and the ***ency possibilities but in reality our draft will cost us a LOT

Thats true, I really hope we can trade out of the 1st just so we save some $. God Id love to have Trufant. His play only got better as the year went on so Im sure his price jumped up too.
 
we have 25 million in cap space - with the guys on the roster now. Booker is gone so get some more there, so that is like 28 million in cap. We can easily afford those players and more and our draft picks. If we trade out of number 1 (which we should), we will have cap space to spare.

Lets start talking up McFadden. He is the only player that will tempt teams to trade up to 1 because the other than him - pretty much everybody is of equal talent.
 
Keep in mind that whole incident with Traylor last year. With him being gone, we probably have a little more breathing room under the cap.

that would be sweet... Wed have one of the best secondaries in the league with that lineup. Noon would be able to throw on us. Too bad Trufant is going to resign with Seattle

YB is a free agent this year, plus he's coming back from a ruptured Achilles tendon, so who knows if he'll even be able to play again? Also, YB will be 30 this year, which really cuts down on his desirability as a player for a team that is rebuilding, imho.
 
I think Trufant is way more of a need then Hamlin. If M.Booker gets cut that 4 million,Zach Thomas Is 5 million, Jason Taylor is 7.5 million, Trent Green is I believe at 3 million plus we are already under the cap 25 million or so. We need an impact player and Trufant is such a player if he is the only major player we get I would be fine with it.
 
There is about .01% change of Marcus Trufant becoming a FA. He has already stated he would prefer to stay in Seattle and they want him back. A deal will be done in the next month or so I would guess.

Both Allen and Hamlin play FS. Can't say for sure if that would work. In some D schemes it's just a left safety or a right safety; but in other schemes the FS and SS are different in their assignments.
I also think that Hamlin and Trufant both are going to be asking for big pay checks.

If that were to happen, and we ended up picking Chris Long with our 1st pick, I could definitely see us having a top D in '08.
