I'd feel good, but that, as you already know, won't happen.

That would be a fantastic draft IMO.

Hey why is Ginn or Meriweather not on your list.I believe in Daunte as QB.

I would like as is but would like it even more if we added a receiver earlier. Say someone like Jason Hill in the 3rd or Mike Walker in the 4th or 6th.

I like these 2 picks but probably not gonna happen. Man wouldn't it be nice to trade outta the #9 pick and get a receiver in the mid to late first round and another first day pick of some sort :rolleyes2 .

Quinn won't be there and neither will Kalil or Staley but is ok to dream at this point...lol

Ozzy rules!!

1. Quinn is rated #5 and we pick 9, probably not going to happen.
2A. Kalil is rated #32 and we pick 40, probably not going to happen.
2B. Staley is rated #41 and we pick 60, not going to happen.
3. Bennett is rated #102 and we pick 71, there are a lot of good players above him, I don't like this pick.
4. Thomas is rated #85 and we pick 104, probably not going to happen.
6. Harris is rated #142 and we pick 166, probably not going to happen.
7A. Smith is rated #??? and we pick 201.
7B. Pittman is rated #171 and we pick 210, probably not going to happen.

So basically, it doesn't look like we have a realistic chance at any of your picks, except Bennett, and that doesn't look like a good value pick with lots of players graded well above him, including other cornerbacks.

Yeah, 1, 2A, and 2B don't seem realistic. I prefer Levi Brown and Drew Stanton anyway.

Bennett would probably be the best CB available when we pick in the 3rd round. But I'd rather draft one of these guys in the third...

C Samson Satele, Hawaii
WR Aundrae Allison, East Carolina
ILB David Harris, Michigan
DE Dan Bazuin, Central Michigan

Thomas is a 3rd rounder for sure. If you're looking for a DT in the 4th, Antonio Johnson from Mississippi St might be there.

Harris is a solid 4th rounder. Juwan Simpson from Alabama might be on the board, though.

Smith will probably be an undrafted free agent. If you're going to take a WR in the 7th, Laurent Robinson would be a steal if he fell, but he'll probably go in the 6th. So James Jones is the guy. Strong as crap. Not super fast, but not slow either. Great hands. He is this year's Marques Colston.

Pittman is a solid 5th rounder. There isn't really a good option at DE in the 7th round unless Xzavie Jackson (Missouri) or Antwan Applewhite (San Diego State) fall. Mkristo Bruce from Washington St will probably be there when we pick, but I don't know anything about him.

WR Laurent Robinson would be sweet in the 6th or 7th. I'm in love with everything I read about Jacoby Jones though, who might be a great 4th round pick.

9. (1st) Amobi Akoye, DT, Louisville; 40. (2nd) Joe Staley, OT, Central Michigan; 60. (2nd) Drew Stanton, QB, Michigan State; 71. (3rd) Sampson Satele, C, Hawaii; 104. (4th) Lorenzo Booker, RB, Florida State; 166. (6th) Kareem Brown, DT, Miami; 184. (6th) Jacoby Jones, WR, Lane (TN); 201. (7th) Dan Santuchi, OG, Notre Dame; 210. (7th) Kody Bliss, P, Auburnand

9. (1st) Amobi Akoye is a great pick. But I'm gonna take Levi Brown if he's still on the board.

40. (2nd) Gotta take Drew Stanton here. Can't take the chance he'll still be there at 60. Staley will be gone anyway.

60. (2nd) CB Josh Wilson, Maryland. Super fast. And we'll need him to return kicks now that Welker is gone.

71. (3rd) C Sampson Satele, Hawaii. We are in agreement.

104. (4th) Lorenzo Booker, Florida State. One of my boys from FSU. Nice! But if I'm gonna be a homer, I'm gonna take Buster Douglas here, not Booker.

WR David Clowney from Virginia Tech would also be a steal in the 4th round. A Kevin Curtis type to replace Welker. Notice it takes two guys to replace Welker.

166. (6th) Kareem Brown will be gone by the 6th round. But David Patterson might still be there. I hope he is. Patterson can play both DE and DT. And he can play them well. Would provide depth at not one, but two positions!

184. (6th) I like Jones if we still have this pick, too. But not Jacoby. James from San Jose St.

201. (7th) Dan Santuchi? No way. Kasey Studdard from Texas is a beast! I mean that literally. The guy is half-man, half-animal. Forget measureables. This guy plays with passion, and he could crack the starting lineup. A potential starter in the 7th round.

220. (7th) Kody Bliss, P, Auburnand[/QUOTE]. A punter? Why? WR James Jones from San Jose St. is the guy to pick here. If Jones is gone, then LB Stephen Nicholas (South Florida), Prescott Burgess (Michigan) or Antwan Barnes (FIU) would provide depth and help on special teams.

WR Laurent Robinson would be sweet in the 6th or 7th. I'm in love with everything I read about Jacoby Jones though, who might be a great 4th round pick.

Clowney is the WR to take in the 4th.

The 4th round is too high for Jacoby Jones. And some scouts have questioned his hands. That's a deal-breaker for me when it comes to a WR.

Check out James Jones. He's the strongest WR in the draft, and he uses that strength to fight off defenders. (Think Oronde Gadsden.) He has great hands, and ran a 4.54 (same as Jacoby) at the combine. James Jones could be the Marques Colston of this year's draft.
