wales and will die a prou
Likelihood is we will cut Bell and resign one of Solai and Langford.

Looking through our roster the spots I feel will need to be filled are:-

Devolopment QB
Situational pass catching threat at TE
OT or OG
Pass rush DE
depth at CB
FS

There are players who could cover certain spots, Murtha or John Jerry OT/OG & Chris Clemons at FS.

Being realistic and considering that a good draft projects 1 or 2 starters in their first year, how would you fill these needs via FA and draft.

My shout would be:-

Devolopment QB - Brock Osweiler
Situational pass catching threat at TE - Ladarius Green
OT or OG - Riley Reiff
Pass rush DE - Cliff Avril
depth at CB - Pacman Jones
FS - Chris Clemons / Trumaine Johnson

Who would you go with?

pacman jones, no way. fs bring in reggie nelson, and draft tannehill or whatever his name is forgot right now, like all your other suggestions

Adam isn't a bad talent ... his problem has always been that he's a headcase. I can't recall any problems he's had over the last few years. Maybe he finally grew up. :idk:

For the second time since signing with the Bengals, Adam “Pacman” Jones has been involved in an incident with Cincinnati police. The Bengals cornerback was arrested outside of the Scene Ultra Lounge bar at 2:35 a.m. Sunday in the 600 block of Walnut Street on one count each disorderly conduct (while intoxicated) and resisting arrest.

This was just this last July.

i think there is a rule of one headcase per team, we already have marshall. i heard on the big o show, sign vince jackson, and get rid of marshall, almost sounds like a good idea

:chuckle: ... Guess I missed that.

Nevermind.

Quite honestly?

After extensively reading, and re-reading what happened in the "Rain incident", I have zero idea how Scat-man Jones isn't doing 10-20 for accessory to commit murder. He is directly linked to calling a hit on a guy who is now a Paraplegic due to his actions (And money).

I won't shed a tear if he ends up with spinal injuries after trying to tackle a fullback or tight end...not a single one.

I'd go after Flynn, Nelson and either Nicks or Grubb at guard......don't know if we could afford all 3 tho......Bell and Carey would be gone of course.
Then on to the draft I'd try to move down if posible to get an extra 2nd....if that works out then here's what I'd do. Take the best OT on the board with our first round pick. Then in round 2 I'd take the best pass rusher on the board and the top TE on the board.

Our o-line would be Long-Incognito-Pouncy-Grubbs or Nicks and 1st round pick at RT. We would have a TE to go with Fasano and Clay. Flynn would have a great o-line in front of him plus some weapons too.On defence Nelson at FS and Jones to SS and then our 2nd rounder as a pass rusher. 3rd round on is hard to tell at this point.

Ozzy rules!!

Just say NO to Pacman Jones. He's got some talent, but enough to out weigh the trouble he would inevitably get into in South Beach.

Also, if you are saying that we're cutting Bell in favor of signing Soliai or Langford (more likely Langford; don't be surprised to see Soliai anchoring the middle of the Jets D next year), then SS becomes a priority. I know we drafted Reshad Jones thinking he may be able to play there, but both Jones and Clemons have done well at the Free, so I think SS is a need, and FS is fine.

We'll take a more prolific developmental QB too.

Out of all of your proposed players, Riley Reiff is my favorite.

Not only is Pac Man a headcase, he's on the decline. We can do better.

I could live with your other suggestions.

depth at CB - Pacman Jones

Sign meachem, flynn and nelson.trade down some spots.get mike Adams of osu.in the 2nd best available pass rusher(there's plenty this year) and the extra second, pick best available te,hopefully fleener, but I'm sure he is goin to blow the doors off the combine. Now you have the third rounder, pick best available corner.maybe Leonard Johnson out of Iowa state.now you have very few holes across the board without breaking the bank to do so...4th through 7th round is strickly for depth and o-line competition! Problem solved! 11-12 wins for that roster.oh and cut bell, give Solia extension, let Carey and langford walk.restructure contracts if can like the steelers are doing.

I could live with this. I wouldn't worry about trading down - IMO we need another pass rusher (Coples or Upshaw). We also need to look at the current player and the draft for Incognitos replacement. I would also look for a tweener type RB - bigger than bush, but not a power back.

Pacman and brandon marshall now thats a party lol. we are alotted one scumbag per team
