how would you guys fix this team if it was up to you?

I am curious as to how you guys would fix this team if you were the one making the decisions. lets seperate this as Owner, Gm , and coach.

As a owner I would do these things.

#1 Encourage Parcells to stay .

#2 hold a festival of dolphins in miami to rejuvinate the fanbase.

#3 hire Bill Cowher if Parcells leaves.

As a Gm , I would bring in Patrick Surtain, Anquan Boldin, and bring back Zach for 1 year then hire him as a coach.

I would draft ot Michael Oher , safety Nick Harris, FS Quintin Moore and then draft 3 dt's and 2 de's

as a hc i would
rebuild the special teams and offense and then the next year rebuild the defense.
 
So, you'd fire Tony Sparano if Parcells leaves, which he is not going to do, and bring back Patrick Surtain and Zach Thomas?????

This might just be the most bizarre 'solution' to the Dolphins' deficiencies that I have read on this site post-wildcard loss.
 
Acefin 500, some of that crap is just rediculous!

First off, the owner needs to doing everything, and I mean everything, in his power to keep Parcells here, happy, and in full control.

Secondly, Jeff Ireland needs to keep evaluating young talent both in the college and on the free agent market with the tuna. The less busts we sign the faster this team will become a championship contender and that only comes from doing your homework.

Thirdly, Sparano needs to keep motivating our players to play at their absolute very best as he did this season.

Now, when it comes to which players to bring in we need to absolutely avoid older decreasing talented players, aka Partick Surtain and Zach Thomas. We dont need to trade very value high level draft picks for players, aka Anquan Boldin. Now dont get me wrong he's a good player, but it would take far too much to aquire him.
 
this team is getting fixed....I'd leave things the way they are...that means let Parcells,Ireland and Sparano do their thing

Make sure Ross continues to have economic problems.

GEEZ, THIS TEAM IS NOT BROKEN. IT IS YOUNG AND UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. GIVE IT TIME TO GET IT'S LEGS. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE!! FROM 1-15 TO 11-6 AND DIVISION CHAMPIONS. TALK ABOUT GREEDY. BE HAPPY YOU GOT THE DIVISION THIS YEAR AND LOOK FORWARD TO THE OFF SEASON. If B.P. leaves-he leaves. Lets hope he has set the foundation for Tony to build on.

We are right at the top of team turnarounds and the only team in history to win 1 game and then take the Division the next year. We have a solid QB and C.H. and Beck in the bullpen. We need some holes filled but every team every year goes through this. F.A. and the Draft?

This team does not need to be fixed. It needs to be fine tuned.
I didn't know rebuilding had a 1 year expiration date!

pure brilliance. i would continue to build the lines, add some young talent in the draft, perhaps 1 or 2 fa's, depending on term. in other words, id do the exact opposite of what you suggested.
 
We are not broken, just need a better pass rush and a true #1 reciever and a true shut down corner. The Oline could use one more peice as well.
 
i would build the biggest, strongest, meanest offensive line in the league
