How would you have do it so far?

How would you have done it so far?

There are several people here that don't like the actions of our FA moves so far, OK cowboy up (no pon intended) what would you have done different? Me, I am good with the moves so far and am waiting for the draft.

I wouldn't have done anything different. I think they have made all the right moves in the rebuilding project. Actually, I might have looked into getting a corner. I wouldn't want to break the bank on a premier corner but I would want to get a decent one. We are really lacking talent in that part of the roster. Daniels who has regressed every year has moved to safety. I think we could have gotten at least one corner in FA.
 
I think it has been good so far..... not over paying for some free agents. There is alot to happen before the season begins. The NFL draft, June 1st cuts, etc.
I'm sure cornerback will be addressed at some point.... I hope!

Yeah I do too but I think we need some better ones via FA. Our corners are:

Allen
Lehan
Goodman
Jones

Goodman can't stay healthy, Jones is still a project I guess you could say and Lehan played decent last year. I think Lehan is more of a 3rd corner.

When we draft a corner, I hope we dont expect him to automatically start and hope he plays well. I think we should have gotten another corner in FA, maybe Randall Gay (not at the price NO got him though).
 
i love our signing to this point...

i also think cb will be taken care of with a draft pick and then the waiver wire and roster cut downs

not to mention, these guys usaly come cheaper then early FA signings. I really think we are on the right path.

i know. i'm pumped about the depth of CB this year - especially since we need another starter so bad. we essentially have 2 nickel corners in lehan and goodman (who is good enough to be a starter if healthy) and a safety in daniels. i think mckelvin will be the best out of that group. dude is sick.
 
I love what we've done so far....I didn't want us to sign a free agent corner cause the draft is deep there.....a little surprise we didn't get a better TE than Ryan but we should do that thru the draft as well.....love that the ST's have been taken care of and depth will be much better everywhere....like everyone else I'm waiting for the draft.

I am ecstatic simply because we have had no sheer boneheadedness so far.

The Dolphins are finally headed in the right direction but like a large ship, the move will take time.
 
I'm not too wild about the JAson Ferguson trade. We gave up too much. We should have just signed Grady "Action" Jackson.
