How would you rank the Fins' Offseason moves so far?

for me it would be

1. Extending Rashad Jones

2. Extending Cam Wake

3. Re-signing Kenny Stills

4. Trading for Will Hayes

5. Signing Lawrence Timmons

6. Trading for Julius Thomas

7. Re-signing Andre Branch

8. Signing Anthony Fasano

9. Signing Nate Allen

10. Signing Ted Larsen

11. Re-signing John Denney

I'd rank #1 not bringing in a real starting guard. We failed to do that last year and now we did it again. We're just two real guard from having a great offense.

Ozzy rules!!

Can't blow your load on a G.

Sometimes good drafting to get a G is the way to go. Not even first round, use a late rounder. Good OL come from everywhere.

I like your ranking OP, because it stresses keeping our own top performers, and we didnt have to pay perrenial loser level money to keep em around....really set the tone for the last 4-5 days. I think it affects the rest of the FAs we ended and will end up with and the price paid too to some degree.

There's a difference between not blowing your load and not having a top 50 guard in the NFL. Right now multiple teams have 2 better guards than the Fins let alone 1. You'd think this FO would have learned after Tannehill almost had us knee shredded last year.

Obviously it's impossible to know how this is going to shake out, but if we assume that all of the free agents we signed / players we traded for perform at 90% of what they performed at last season (a generous but not ideal estimate), I think you're going to need to bump Fasano up on that list.

With the shaky guard situation, his blocking talent will be critical.

All it takes is one rookie.

Paying 10 million or more for the least important position on the OL is stupid. Tannehill got his knee hurt by a cheap shot beating the LT that got traded.

Bushrod and Tunsil were both below average according to PFF and the Ol was fine until Pouncey went out.

Tunsil was fine at LG. He had some problems related to learning the position, but overall he was solid.

Bushrod was bad. But that's OK. He wasn't Dallas Thomas bad, and that was a huge improvement.

He was still a barely average G and he was fine.

He's going to be great next year at LT.

One late round or UdFA at G and Miami is fine. I'd rather spend my money on players that change seasons. Playmakers.
