how would you rate our cornerback position now???

how would you rate our cornerbacks on our current roster after we signed Will Allen?


I would have to say a B. We have a lot of potential and are very young at the position. We dont have a premier shut down corner but have many good ones. It also depends on how Daniels and Poole progress.
 
B+ Because We Have Depth As Well As People Who Can Jus Play And Then We Have Nick Saban Coaching Them
 
B- to C+ right now. We've got good depth with the potential to be very good. Poole, Mitchell, Allen, and Daniels have great potential. If Saban can get them motivated and progressing, we could have a great bunch of corners in the next few years.
 
Well, right now the depth gives us a notch better than last year, but I think the grade is still the same to maybe a tick better. Like C+ (last year) to B- (this year).

Daniels is a year better
Poole is better than Howard
W. Allen is a wash vs. Madison (both have strenghts and weaknesses, but Allen has youth, supports the run better)

The depth that Goodman, Hill, Mitchell, Jackson add is nice. But just not significant right now. I may feel different once camp closes and I see the product on the field.
 
In a normal defense, they are a C+. In sabans defense, they're more of a B.
 
I say a B average. For now. We added speed, youth, and hopefully we'll add that needed veteran presence.
 
D. No one knows how will poole will be, and im not convinced travis daniels can start in the nfl. We still need another big pickup.

TRUE! AND GOOD COMPETITION IN CAMP
 
I think we need to go after Law or Woodson..it was abvious Nick disliked the current secondary. Who knows we may draft someone in the 1st? The potential of Poole is very interesting.
 
B-

Solo tackles: 47

Assisted tackles: 14

Sacks: 0

Interceptions: 1 (three of them were erased by penalties)

Pass Deflections: 13

Considering he's a rookie, he's damn good. I think he's proven.

But we do need another pick up. I agree with you on that.
 
ilik the secondary and i have a feeling we are going bpa in th draft or trading down to accumulate picks
