if/when the Dolphins make it to the Super Bowl? I wasn't alive the last time it happened, anyone who was...what was it like?

Would it be better to watch it alone with no distractions? Or with other Dolphins fans? Super Bowl parties are fun, but if your team is playing I'd assume it's better either alone or with Fins fans. The Saints have been my #2 even before Katrina, but obviously it's not close to being the same feeling. It was great cheering for them and I'm happy for the team that invented the paper bags, but now I wish it was the Dolphins just like every other year.

Here's to 2010-11!

i would want to keep with my gametime routine for every game, nothing out of the ordinary.

I honestly don't think I'd be able to attend a Super Bowl party. I 'd be way too emotional and probably irrational towards any other person rooting against the Fins. I'd have plans to party immediately afterwords but ultimately I'd have to watch by myself or a small group of Fin fans like my family. Unless of course I had tickets to the big game.

Hopefully someday we'll know what it's like..... :tumbleweed:

True of the other team scored and my friend talked stuff I would give them a quick hook to the jaw...

Win i'd be the biggest douche and happiest man in the room
Loss, i'd be pissed for a week and spend a week's salary in alcohol =)

I watched the last Super Bowl the Dolphins were in(Jan. of '85) at my folks house, just like I did all the rest. I was 19 at the time and the Dolphins had played in four SB's already, so I thought with Marino this was the first of many with him. I was honestly not that upset with the loss, I figured we would be back the next year with a little more experience and a sure enough we almost did. As good as we were in those days(70's and early 80's) I felt at the start of each season we were going to the SB that year, kinda like Patriot fans feel now. I wish you younger fans could get the same pride I had as a fan in the 70's and 80's...it was awesome!!!

I couldnt tell you until it happened. I would probably need some people around me though, to make sure i dont send my fist through the TV after a turnover.
