Reggie Howard is terrible, he was getting torched badly. Daniels needs to play. I am also really disappointed in the defensive line play in the first half. They got no pressure at all on the quarterbacks. The o-line still has some work to do as well, espically run blocking.

If Daniels needed to be playing, he would have been playing. There may have been a method to Saban's "madness" like giving Howard an opportunity in a real game situation to prove something, or it might be that however bad Howard is, Daniels is worse at this point.

none of our secondary really impressed me. if they hadn't overthrown about 4 or 5 passes where they had us beat by about 3 yds this game would be looking pretty ugly

I don't know if that means Howard has been playing at camp, from what I've heard, Daniels has been doing really well, I think Saban is going to rotate some of the players on D a couple times, until the last two preseason games. There has to be a pass rush too though, so I'm kind of worried about the Defense overall, because it goes hand and hand.

Daniels had a nice break on one of the balls and i think he had a tackle...i could be wrong on that one though

Howard's play was downright scary.
Secondary could well be a problem for us.
