Howard Must Be Licking His Chops - Insight?

I have to think that Howard has to be looking forward to playing against Tannehill. Does anyone recall anything specific about their camp battles from their time together?

Why? Howard is one of the few players that’s still on the team when Tanne was here. If anything I’d like to think they have a mutual respectable relationship.

Pretty sure Tanny is licking his chops and looking forward to thrashing the team, coaching staff, and GM that jettisoned him. Especially since his new team has been pretty successful with him as the signal caller.

Because he knows how to play against him from having done it so many hundreds of times in practice. I didn't say they don't like each other. I don't know anything about that and don't really care. I just think Howard might have a lot of insight into playing against him and hope it causes an Int or maybe two.

Maybe in spirit but this period without Henry has showed us that Tannehill is who we thought he was. If given the perfect setup with one of the best running games in the league and a good oline then he can manage games. Take away that run game and force him to win games with his arm and he can’t do it. He’s yet to really have any great games without Henry and this Miami D might be the best he’s faced all year.

playing devils advocate...shouldnt this also benefit RT17 on knowing the quirks in X's game.

The thing is, AJ Brown is the kind of WR that excels against. its the physical wrs he is better at baiting due to his acceleration burst and cuts towards ball. its the speed guys that kick his ass, so hopefully this bodes well for his coverage and taking brown out of hte game.

I think the DL is going to feast more than the DB's, and that aint a bad thing

We're the top D right now so I would assume so. I can't wait to see Ogbah and Phillips all over him with occasional blitzes from Holland. Tannehill has the peripheral vision of one of the Budweiser Clydesdales with the blinders on.

Yeah. X or Jones will just shut Brown down and make Thill target his other options.

Defensively, it comes down to how well they contain Brown. Offensively, ball control and turnovers, for the most part. And weather.

The Titans have won 4 games without Henry, including @Rams, Saints and 49ers. I'll also toss in there the Jaguars, who we couldn't beat.

There's a lot more to the Titans story than just Derrick Henry is missing. They are very banged up. https://www.espn.com/nfl/team/depth/_/name/ten

Who wouldn't suffer without arguably (because someone always wants to argue) the best running back in the NFL not playing?
