Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard offered more insight into his latest right knee injury, telling me the meniscus was indeed torn (during a practice collision with Kenny Stills), he needed surgery (his second on that knee in four months) but doctors don’t believe that knee will hamper him his whole career.
He said he will play again this year but isn’t sure when; the Dolphins believe sometime in November. He’s not on crutches.

Thanks! He looked like an answer at CB when he played. Great explosion to the ball and strong run support. Hopefully we get him back and he can stay healthy. We need young talent on that D!

The injuries to our top 2 round draft picks over the last several years has just been crazy! We need to start catching some breaks!

You can recover 100% from a torn meniscus. It's not that big a deal.

I'm more concerned with a young guy missing reps, playing without being in football shape and the mental aspects of recovery. We need all the horses we can get in the secondary...especially with Jones out for the year.

we can start catching breaks when we stop drafting and bringing in INURY PRONE PLAYERS... our FO never learns

Hard to believe we keep on drafting guys with injury history. I know anyone can get hurt out there(or in the shower) but when you keep on counting on guys that are always hurt then you're going to have players that are always hurt.........."you keep on making an exception and you'll end up with a team full of exceptions"

Ozzy rules!!

Based on your Dr performance hopefully good in this case though my miniscus did not work well after surgery.
