I thought for a fleeting moment that hey maybe just maybe Howie Long may have some sense, okay so it turns out that's the joke of the day! He starts by saying that Favre didn't deserve to make the Pro Bowl....guy has some sense, let me read on......surely he feels Penningon or Rivers would deserve the nod.....Matt Cassel!? Are you serious Howie? I think you're sense of football is just about as outdated as that high and tight airplane runway you have sitting on the top of your head! By the way, the poll on the right where it says "Who has helped their team the most" last time I looked Pennington was leading at 52%

cassel has been pretty solid, while i dont think he should make the pro bowl in a talented AFC, he could be considered a canidate...

My reasoning for Pennington over cassel is simply, numbers and cassel has moss and welker, pennington has ginn and undrafted free agents... plus pennington owns the intangibles catagory...
cassel has been pretty great though... i'm glad theyll lose him and have to suffer with an ailing brady

Favre probably won't play in the pro bowl. The alternate is likely to be Rivers or Cassel though.

What pisses me off is that somebody will give them 2 1st round draft choices for Cassel and they will continue to draft quality players and continue to get better and better.
