I'm not a scout by any means, but I think Michael Huff compares favorably to Carlos Rogers. In fact, I think Huff has far better ball skills while Rogers might be more physical. Rogers went #8 to Washington so it wouldn't surprise me if Huff goes around that point maybe sooner. I mention this because some have listed Huff as a target for Miami. While that makes sense, I seriously doubt he will be there in the middle of the first round.

i think huff is the guy we should get in the first round but we do need a QB so theres a tough decision

Huff will be a S in the NFL. He's alright as a CB, but his future is more than likely at S.

Rogers was heads and shoulders above Huff. He ate his men up in college, and was probably the closest thing to a shut down corner in college since Charles Woodson. In fact, it's a shame it took Gibbs and Williams half a season to start him over Walt Harris.

On the contrary. all the reports that I've read are that he will make a better CB at the pro level. He has the size, speed, hands, tackling ability, and awareness for the interception. Williams will make a better pro safety then CB. But with Williams still there, chances are that Jimmy Williams will get drafted around the 8 spot and Huff will be anywhere from 10-20.

If Huff and Williams are gone by 20, Darnell Bing could be a good pick up if we go for a Safety. He's a hitter.

Miami has had a very strong D for quite some time. With some of our guys getting older, I feel we need to pick up some more D in the draft unless there is a T, or QB that we can't pass up on.

Once again, the problem is not his talent but where to play him.I don't want a guy with our top pick that we're not sure if he's better at corner or at safety.I actually don't like taking a DB with our 1st pick...maybe the fletcher pick's still scares me? We got Sam and Pat in the 2nd and Daniels in the 4th.I'd much rather have Greenway at 15 unless Cutler's there of course.I'd like another corner and another safety but I think that can wait till the 2nd and 3rd round.

Ozzy rules!!

a website said that bing is the harrison coming out. he has the potential as he is a VERY hard hitter that scares WR runing through the middle of the field. we need a bing i wouoldn't complain or landry but give me cutler im happier.

and he won the Thorpe Award! He must be mediocre!

no one is saying Huff isn't good, but Rogers was a better CB at Auburn than Huff is currently at Texas.

you cannot judge so early let huff play a nfl year

I think he is judging by what they did in college considering you can't even say much about Rogers on the pro level yet.

Please no CBs in the first round. LT, DT, QB, WR, LB, even an exceptional S... just not a CB, first round picks of CBs make me very nervous.

Why do you say that? I'm mean you can't just say it just cause. There should be a reason behind it. Huff is a quality player who could probably come in and start. give me something that tells me that Rogers was better then huff.
