Sorry but Huizenga was a terrible owner and Spielman sucked too. Yeah they closed deals its just too bad most of them were bad ones. OK Ross missed on Harbaugh and after him having sucess in SF it stings but he did identify the guy as being a coach he wanted and he went for it. Not really sure what happened with Fisher but it kind of seems like it was a mutal rejection by both sides. The jury is out on Philbin but the guy seems like a solid hire. Ross at least seems like he has his head in the game. WH just acted like a spoiled rich fool throwing money at bad ideas.Ireland catches a lot of heat and some he deserves but during his tenure he has steadily improved the roster while managing to get the salary cap under control. What I am looking for from Ireland is that he makes good deals that move this team forward and sometimes the good moves are the moves you dont make. If they go out and get Manning and he never makes it on the field then he deserves criticism for that. We are in no postion to chastize the guy until we see what they put on the field next year.People on this site who know me also know I have been very critical of this organazation and right now my attitude is to wait and see how things unfold. Its too early to bash them for anything. I caution everyone from making knee-jerk reactions and wait to see how this poker game plays out. Frankly going into next season with Moore as our starter might be the best option available. Manning may never take the field again, Flynn may stink the joint up, and Tanenhill and Weeden may both be busts, if all of that turns out to be true I dont want to see any of them on Miamis roster.
