Per Dave Meltzer:

Hulk Hogan vs. Jerry Lawler on 4/27 in Memphis at the Mid South Coliseum. It would be the first time the two have wrestled each other in more than 25 years if there isn't the dreaded blown out knee in the next few weeks.

No way will Lawler lose in mid-south, so i'm doubting that this is even true because as we already know, Hogan lays down for NO ONE.

Unless the pay day is right.....

Which brings up another point, how are they paying for this?

They are closing down the MID-SOUTH arena. So this is one last night where all the legends are coming back for one giant card

I looked into it and heard that Hogan is promoting this show himself, now that he's back in a feud with the WWE he wants to prove that he can still draw and sell out any arena he chooses, and he will sell out mid-south easily especially wrestling Lawler. But apparently it is him putting the show together.

which means Jerry is taking a home town fall. :)

Hogan wants to promote a bunch of shows over the next year with past legends and young Indy talent.

He wants to do a retirment tour. Some think though he is using this as leverage to get a better deal out of WWE. I think after tonight WWE has all of the leverage and has no use for the Hulkster at the Hulkster's demands!

BTW guys.....old school atch tonight in HBK vs. Cena....

This is the first time I saw wrestling in a while...I was impressed with the main event.

it was no HBK vs. Razor Ramon match....but pretty damn good for today's WWE standards.

The whole show was pretty damn solid, but yeah Shawn Michaels lived up to his name "Mr. Wrestlemania" once again by putting on a classic with one of the most inept wrestlers in wrestling history John Cena.

HBK VS Razor Ramone was a classic ladder match!

Also if Hogan is doing his retirement tour I hope the organization blows up big and he starts competing with the WWE so there is a little better performances because WWE is trash and I will not watch wrestling due to how crap its gone without competition!

Dont worry, as long as the pay day is calling and Hogan is still breathing he will never officially retire. Terry Funk retired in 1983 and he's STILL wrestling. Oh and yes, that Razor Ramon-Michaels ladder match at WM X was one of the greatest matches in the history of professional wrestling. It's dwarfed by some of the spots we've seen in recent ladder matches, but for it's time, almost thirteen years ago, it was just so impressive and amazing.

WrestleMania was very good. Nothing surprising but a solid show top to bottom.

MVP-Beniot was the best match by far. Undertaker-Batista was a close second. HBK-Cena was damn good too. And Vince gets his head shaved!! What more do ya want!
