I know everyone is bummed about Tanny and I am too.
But on another subject I thought Mike Hull did a decent job filling in for Kiko.
He had a lot of energy and is a solid tackler.
But I could notice a considerable difference in speed.
Kiko just seems like he is a lot faster than Hull.
Maybe some of it is experience in anticipating where the play is developing.
Seemed like Hull was a step slow at times.

Hull did a good back up job today, but clearly Kiko is our #1 and we missed him today, hope he is back soon.

Hull had 1 really good play on the tip. The rest of the game he was lost in coverage or tackling carriers 5+ yards down the field. He got washed out many times trying to hit his gap. I completely disagree. Kiko may not be perfect but I'm glad the Cardinal's didn't exploit Hull more today. Hull needs more time. He did have good instincts but athletically and mentally he's not there yet.

I'd like to see them both on the field together. Hull at MLB and Kiko at WLB.

It is hard to really gauge how well he did because Palmer was affected significantly by the weather. He didn't stick out in a bad way, so that is really good! The int was a nice pic too!

I saw bits here and there, work around the house ftl, but glad to read that he wasn't Shepherd bad.

i thought he looked pretty good...i mean...he wasnt bad

It is very clear that Kiko is better, but I thought he played near his current ceiling. Early in the game he completely left his area of responsibility to follow Johnson. He needs to raise his ceiling to push for starting.

I would like to see both of them on the field somehow

We played with 3 reserve Linebackers yesterday, i was unable to watch the game, how did they performed? Looks like Hull was ok, what about the others?

If that wasn't ever home field advantage. The rain started heavily just after the start of the game. For the first part of the game the conditions took away their best matchup against our linebackers because Palmer couldn't pass the ball. Once the rain stopped and it dried out they started to get exposed. Near the end of game home field advantage rain kicked in and defense stepped up.

I thought Hull did a good job. They held Arizona down in yardage through 3 quarters until we went into prevent mode on offense after the Tannehill injury. The last 2 Arizona drives were under dryer conditions and they were able to exploit our linebackers and pick up a big chuck of yardage for game in 2 drives.

I agree with the other posters that I think Hull and Kiko should be on the field at the same time. I would take Hull over all of our regular backups. What he needs is the DL to keep him clean, his major weakness seems to be getting off blocks. And it was his first start in the NFL so not too bad.

So basically if 4 quarters were dry, Arizona would score 40 pts as predicted?
This is what I think.. They had a good game plan to shut down Fitzgerald. The pressure was too much for Palmer and Palmer is not very good these days. But we should credit this suspect defense either ways.

Maybe not 40 but they wouldn't have turned the ball over so much in the 1st half and gave us the easy lead. The defense did a great job planning for them despite the weather.
