What kind of effect will this have on the game in Miami next weekend? From the recent forecast, it looks like it will definately have an effect come Sunday.

The passing game should be effected. I would put Miami's running game over the Jet's. Fumbling the football might be an issue....

this really sucks. I hope that thing veers off. man, who knows, if it gets powerful enough, they might move the game? if its really nasty weather that day, who knows what that does to the game plans.

The biggest thing from Hannah is that we have absoloutely no idea where this thing is going. I have been watching the forecast track for the last couple of days and it is all over the place. Everytime I see an update its projected path is quite different from the previous. Stay tuned.

computer models don't really have it hitting SoFla directly, though. as long as it stays to our east, the weather on the west side of the storm should not be as bad.

As far as Hannah's concerned, last I heard, compared to Gustav, so far it's disorganized and moving haphazardly but who knows where the cross winds and atmospheric pressure fronts will push or pull it. - hopefully out to sea. Regardless, the rain and wind squalls should be significant and a definite game factor if Hannah's anywhere near south-central Florida's latitude, no matter the angle of its trajectory.

I'm so friggin sick of hurricane season...those local newscasts start whipping up anxiety to pump up viewership for their advertisers by actively tracking every tropical depression forming off the coast of W. Africa. By the time it veers off course, everyone's already a nervous wreck, breathes a sigh of relief and starts worrying about the next depression heading northwest. Sucks.

No doubt, I really hate the yo-yo's that try to guess how many there will be in a given year. They have no freakin' clue and almost every year they drop the number of storms. Don't try and bring up to me how most stay in the ocean and since they don't make landfall we don't notice them. Sorry, if you live in Florida, you pay attention to all of them.

Bugs, heat and hurricanes......maybe Miami will see some good football played this season..

Good luck this year......Beat Mangina's has beens....

It's not good it's a constant distraction.

It's even worst than ocho cinco.

It does appear to be heading straight for us. Check out the radar vapor loop on the NHC site. The models don't really give a complete picture of the size & impact no matter how accurate they are...

Thats good, Jets are good in sloppy weather some reason. I guess the "HEAT" factor won't play as much as a role as you guys were hoping?

I hope it Doesn't continue its projected path cause it'll hit us dead on or fairly close. Lets keep our fingers crossed, we dont need any interuptions next weekend with Canes @ Gators, and Jets @ Dolphins.

The projected path at this point has it going north, away from Florida. That's the thing with this one though, it's all over the place.
