Here in Colorado, Elway sold his car dealerships to Huizenga for around $100 million a few years back. Nice to see Wayne winning the award....I remember he wrote a big check for the Hurricane victims last year. Good man. :)

wayne didnt start Blockbuster. He bought it when it was a small chain and turned it into a million dollar business and what it is today.

Wayne has the golden touch in business. He has the vision to get into business far before others jump in. He got into the waste business early in his career which opened the way (financed the way) for his later businesses. He sold Blockbuster when it was peaking (buy low, sell high). Autonation didn't quite materialize as first planned but they adjusted their business plan and it works. The guy is incredible.

It's so funny how things have changed. Last year around this time everyone was clamoring for Huizenga to sell the team talking about how he was ruining it. Now, everyone is calling him a good man and a genius.
