Dolphins coach Adam Gase said on Monday things have to change around here. Of course, that sent everyone scrambling to decipher what that means. Will someone get cut like defensive tackle Jordan Phillips last week? Is a trade coming like running back Jay Ajayi last year?

Because you know what’s not changing: The quarterback.

Ryan Tannehill is what he is. It's old news to me.

But the more telling thing here is the quality of offensive line they continually put together. The decisions they make. The players they keep. The players they cut. The players they draft. The players they sign.

I think it's a problem.

If this is the type of offensive line they can build, then they need to be scouting quarterbacks who are a lot closer to Houdini than Tannehill. They need a guy who's here one minute and over there the next. That ain't Tannehill. But they're out there.

So that's it, there is no hope for Ryan Tannehill after 2 bad games? So depressing!

Loved this hyde comment.. ”Offense is Gase’s talent and quarterback his specialty. “
Says who? I mean where is the proof of this during his dolphin tenure?
Why do people keep saying this?

I commented on that article in the Ryan Tannehill thread.

Quote from the article: "There goes Cleveland, so bad for so long, finally looking lucky with Baker Mayfield."

The thing is, I agree that we don't score enough. Never have with Tannehill. But you can't use Mayfield as an example to make that point because in his first full game they scored 12 points. He looks the part, I agree but so did Tannehill in his first year.

He also mentions Matt Ryan and Andy Darlton. I think they are the same QBs as Tannehill: surround them with great talent, they can go places. Atlanta had that Lombardi trophy wrapped up before Matt Ryan fumbled it away. Now you can say, it's the play calling but then you have to give Tannehill the same leeway (is this word being used correctly in this context?). The Falcons blew a 17-0 lead at home against us (with Jay Cutler) last year.

I am not trying to say that Ryan Tannehill is the ultimate hall-of-fame QB but he's certainly better than people here make him out to be.

They need to stop with that crap. What has Gase done. Has he ever had a top even 15 offense? And don’t give me the Manning year. That was Manning’s offense and Manning calling the shots. He told Gase to set back and try to learn something lol

Gase will prop Tannehill up the best he can, its not all bad guys. We will win more games this year, the difference is that I still will not believe in Tannehill I have seen enough.

That’s probably why they were looking so hard at Baker Mayfield. He fits that description.
