Some inside the organization want Marino to replace Mike Tannenbaum. Some adjustments would be needed to cover for what Marino doesn’t have the background to do (contracts, managing the salary-cap details, for instance). But the general hierarchy would stay the same, as many believe the Dolphins want, with Chris Grier remaining general manager and Adam Gase remaining coach.
He’s part of Ross’ inner circle, as CBS captured in a cringe-worthy shot of him sitting with Ross and Tannenbaum during Sunday’s loss to Jacksonville. He certainly would be a plus from a public-relations standpoint. He would get to compete with Denver’s John Elway on another level
I think this would be a great move for the organization. It cant be the only move, but it would definitely get things going in the right direction imo
