I love my phins but I will never at anytime just wave a towel and act like we are always the smartest in the league no matter what we do.


Dolphins sign Pace at 20 million guaranteed, excellent move by Parcells he really is going for a guy about to hit his peak that has been misused.

Jets overpay for Pace at 22 million guaranteed, Jets break cap to sign one year wonder.


Dolphins trade for Jason Ferguson, veteran who will be a key cog at NT for us.

Bills trade for Marcus Stroud who is brutally miscast as a NT.


Dolphins sign Reggie Torbor who as a starter for the NYG should be a player on the rise.

Bills sign overrated superbowl starter Kawicka Mitchell to a long term contract.

Dolphins sign Justin Smiley 5 yrs 25 million, lucky to get young guy coming off injury.

Jets sign Damien Woody 5 yrs 25 million, overrated player past his prime.

Dolphins sign Alan Fanaca 4 yrs 32 million , Parcells is serious about trenches and building line from inside out with top rated free agent.

Jets sign Alan Fanaca 5 years 40 million, seriously overpay for 30 year old lineman.
 
You could replace Dolphins with Jets, Bills, Pats, Saints ...

Well, you get the idea. Were no different than any other fans. Thats why we're DOLFANS.
 
The players we signed mostly has played in our sytem. On top of that we made our key signings in the FO and on the coaching staff. I would have loved to have had any of the players you listed but not at that price. The thing with the Jets is they are throwing out money to everyone in the 1st 4 days of FA and everyone wants to just assume their player are right for their system. I feel much safer with a Ferguson and our other players that will start immediately having played in our system already. Just because the Jets and Bills signed those big names don't mean they fit. We are spending smart money on players that have played in our system and unlike the Jets aren't sacrificing our future for OLD players. That is the way I see it anyway.
 
ive been sayin this for 3 yrs now. i even said it a few weeks ago. ppl dont konw how to STOP BEING SORE LOSERS AND MAKING OUR TEAM LOOK BAD AND OUR FAN BASE!

I have no faith at all in Fergusen, he has missed the majority of 2 of the last three seasons. He is also no spring chicken.
 
SUGAR COATING Our Special Teams Shopping Spree!!

I don't care how you sugar coat these signing thus far but Kavika Mitchell is alot better than Reggie Torbor who just started his last 4 games and basically a special teamer when Mitchell started the whole year and was very productive and has a better resume by far, as for Marcus Stroud vs. Jason Ferguson? That one is not really close at all either. Marcus Stroud is a pro bowl caliber defensive tackle. I agree with you on Pace and Faneca. All in all I think people are frustrated to see some of our division rivals (BILLS,JETS) being aggressive on the free agent front when the Phins are going on a basic special teamers shopping spree.
 
so we lost on pace... it's not the end of the world.. i wish we had signed him but it didn;t work out.. there are other players that we will look at and sign. Free agency is not over for us just because we lost on Pace
 
The only thing that can be said of Ferguson is he is younger than Keith Traylor and he may even pratice more than Traylor.
 
Thank you dlockz! its nice to know that im not the only Realistic Dolfan on this forum. it gets to the point where it seems like EVERY move we make is a great one when ur on this board...even when we know its bad. for example, last year when we drafted Ginn. id say 80-90% of Dolphin fans hated that pick...yet little by little, more and more positive posts kept showing up about how maybe Ginn was the right move at pick 9 overall. to this day there are signatures of Ginn and how great this guy is/will be/or could be. its ridiculous.

smarten up Dolfans. come on now. its okay to say the front office made mistakes...hey at least it wasnt us making them right?

we didnt get the players but at least we're going after them ...

Well our ST's needed rebuilt. We were injury plagued last year and had bad coaching. We fixed one of those for sure. We now have a healthy R@R with alot of last years rookies playing major roles and gaining valuable experiance. I won't give up on making a run this year until we are mathmatically out of the playoff picture. I hate to question some of you peoples fan hood but your getting awful pessimistic to be 4 days in FA.

As far as I see it, the bills won more games than we did last year, the Jets won more games last year, and of course the Pats won more games last year. You can comment all you want about how bad the Bills and Jets FO is. But the statistics show from last year that we were on the bottom of the league.

I do like the acuisitions we made this year but that doesn't mean the decisions of other teams are wrong because it isn't what Parcells did. Trust me, if we are the smart ones then why were we 1-15 last year? I have no doubt that Parcells will bring us out of this hole, but don't count on the other team making (as you seemed to try and make a point on) not as smart decisions. They are the ones making millions of dollars, not you. The Bills and the Jets had decent Off seasons. Trying to make yourself feel better about it by saying we made better decisions doesn't really match up.
