If Pennington looked like he was healing well and Henne was worth a couple of decent picks would you be willing to sacrifice Henne? What do you think he would be worth?

I mean if we built defense with this draft and pick a QB in the 2nd or third round (assuming we got a 2nd and 3rd rounder for Henne) would it be worth it. Or do you think this regime considers Henne a franchise QB???

I like Henne don't get me wrong. But does BP and TS like him enough? Even with Pennington we still have a chance at the playoffs, but who knows how far we'd go.

Pennington will be 34 when the season starts and is trying to come back from yet another serious injury. He is not in the future plans for the Dolphins.

We have been waiting since Marino retired for this franchise to get a young QB with a lot of potential and we finally do it and you want to trade him away? Henne is the type of quarterback you build your team around, and you just want to throw it away for one more year of Pennington or two years at the most?

Henne is the franchise quarterback this regime wants.

If you are right then why couldn't Sparano even commit to Henne as the starter next year? I liked what I saw but who knows what the hell the FO is thinking.

They are all about competition no matter how good you are at your position. I believe i remember them saying when he was drafted they said he would be the started in 2010 no matter if Pennington was still here or not. They wont commit to anyone until the opening day Depth chart is made up.

OMG lets trade our 23 yr old QB so we can start a 35 yr old QB coming off his what 3rd arm surgery these threads have got to stop
