Missing on a top tier, pro ready talent like Mallett who could have been stolen at a bargain ba$ement price, (well actually Belicheat did just that) especially after we should have known better benefiting from those kind of rumors, innuendos and image issues to grab our best ever player 2 notches before the start of the 2nd round IMO is un****ingforgiveable and would make any QB arguments this year probably moot. At this point, if Mallett is as talented as most draft gurus deemed him to be, especially in NE system as Brady's grasshopper, ain't no way the Pats trade him to us. And if they want to, look out because they think he's another Cassel or Davey. Ireland definitely screwed the pooch on that one.. bad!
