Recently, I have seen quite a few people requesting copies of the Preseason games, stating money is no object. Doesn't the person providing the copy have to get written permission from the NFL to sell that copy?

The reason I ask is, I just purchased a DVD Recorder so my wife can record all the games while I am deployed. I plan on recording all the games (Preseason, Regular Season and the Playoffs, thinking positive) this season and every here after, basically, a running library of Dolphin games.

Would I be out of line to provide copies at a small price (for time and effort) plus S&H? Second, what would be a good price?

Technically, you are not allowed to take money from a recorded game.

They always have the diclaimer at the end, pretty much stating that.

Legally, you can not sell copies of any copyrighted material without permission. That's why they're copyrighted. I guarantee you will not get permission without paying a fee.

Its illegal to do this, however copies of Super Bowl & other games are all over eBay.

Two things, First if she does copy them Can I get a Hypothetical copy of them? Because I will be going thru bootcamp for the next 5 months. And Secondly where are you being deployed to?

First, I have to Hypothetically twist her arm to make my copies

Secondly, Bahrain, to meet the ship.

I would be happy to make copies IF i am not in jeopardy of getting into trouble.
